My Conversation On Hip-Hop With Geraldo Rivera Last night I was joined by Geraldo Rivera, one of the most recognizable and respected figures in investigative journalism. He has recently found himself in some hot water, however, after making some controversial remarks about the impact that Hip-Hop has had on minority communities. In a recent interview on HuffPost Live he said, "Hip-Hop has done more damage to black and brown people than racism in the last ten years."
In the clip below, Geraldo explains his position, but concedes that in describing "Hip-Hop" in general as being harmful to young minorities, he may have painted with too broad a brush.
